Congratulations to Jazz Ensemble Students

Congratulations to the following Jazz Ensemble students on receiving Outstanding Musician Certificates at the NIU Jazz Festival based upon their soloing:

  • Chris Walentschik on Flugel Horn
  • Connor Gooding on guitar
  • Jamie Brunskill on Trumpet
  • Jonathan Freeman on Bass
  • Joe Tam on Trombone

In addition to a certificate of recognition, these students are eligible to participate in the NIU Combo day in March that only accepts 60 top musicians from around the state. Congratulations to all.
