To prepare for the new school year, the students must be fitted for uniforms, tuxes, and dresses. Since there are at least 90 marching band members and about two dozen orchestra members, we need some parent volunteers to help out during the next band camp.
Tasks include helping students try on uniforms and ensuring they’re not too tight and they’re the correct length. We could really use your help if you can do minor sewing, such as hemming and sewing snaps back onto uniforms and maybe some tacking.
Please contact the Uniform Coordinator if you have any questions.
Click the VolunteerSpot button to sign up for the timeslots you plan to attend. If you can sew, please sign up for the Sewing task; otherwise, sign up for the Volunteer position. Be sure to click the green “Save & Close” button after you sign up for one (or more) days. If you haven’t used VolunteerSpot before and need an introduction, they have a couple of short two-minute videos on their site.
The listed times are when fittings will be done, but you can come and help whenever it’s convenient for you within those hours.
Update: I had the wrong times here. Please note the corrected times. The times in VolunteerSpot were (and are) correct.
