At the last Music Boosters meeting, we decided to change the domain name to better reflect what we do. Our new domain name is rmhsmusicboosters.com. The old domain will be active for at least another year, so you don’t need to print new business cards and buy new bumper stickers just yet. (I’ve already updated the Google calendar, so if you added our calendar to yours, you’ll have to do it again.)
Update: @rmhsmusicboosters.com e-mail addresses are now active.
Soon, we’ll also add a Director’s page to be updated by Mr. Buti and an Orchestra page to be updated by Mr. Stewart.

Welcome! It’s hard to believe that Summer has come and gone already which means the Music Boosters are gearing up for another exciting school year of music.
This is my sixth year that I’ve been involved with the Music Boosters and my second term as President. I am very fortunate again to have a tremendous Executive Committee where all positions are filled on a volunteer basis. Some are returning members and others are new parents who have stepped up to help out. I can’t do it all on my own and it takes many people to help run a great organization like the RMHS Music Boosters.

Butter Braid, our first fundraiser of the year, kicked off at the Band Picnic and runs from now until Sept 17th. Pick up will be on Monday, Sept 27 in the back cafeteria from 5:30pm until 6:30pm. Remember, you have to pick them up on this day as we have no way to store them. Last year we had so many people say that they “underbought” because it tastes so wonderful! So get out there and sell! This is a great opportunity for you to build your Student Account. Next year is a trip year and there’s no time like now to start saving. Welcome to the new Music Boosters Web site. We’ve just switched over from the old one today, Sunday, August 8. There may be a few glitches here and there as we ensure all the links and information are up-to-date. (It will also take 24-48 hours for rollingmeadowsband.com to be updated for everyone.)

Congratulations, students and parents, on your graduation from Rolling Meadows High School. The Music Boosters want to extend our well wishes to you and your family and thank you for all of your volunteer time over these past four years. As you know it’s tough to run a volunteer organization and it takes many people to make things happen. We couldn’t have done it without you. I hope you will continue to follow the RMHS music program by visiting this Web site and school during football games where possible and other concert events. I’d also like to extend an invitation to you to consider joining the Friends of the Music Boosters club which provides discounts to JITM and all of our concerts throughout the year.
