The current rep is retiring this year. Would you like to learn and take over this job?
Use Excel to maintain a spreadsheet detailing money students earn through fundraising and money they withdraw to pay for music department-related expenses. Except for collecting money at the semi-annual garage sale, the Student Accounts Rep does not handle money, but rather inputs earnings reported by the fundraiser coordinators. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about the job and its time commitments.
It’s not too late – Please consider walking with the Marching Mustangs and keeping them hydrated as they march the Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows parades. We still need 5 Water-Walkers for Arlington Heights and 3 for Rolling Meadows.
All of the information is here as is the link to sign up:
Many thanks & Happy Independence Day!

Time to Tail Gate!
Plan to stop by for the RMHS Music Boosters’ 2nd Annual Tail Gate Party around 7 p.m., tomorrow night, Thursday, June 29, in the front parking lot at the school by the main entrance. The Boosters will provide hors d’oeuvres, dessert treats and refreshments, and your entire family is welcome to join us, too. The Marching Mustangs will be tweaking their new parade formation right before our eyes while serenading us with “Salute to America” in the parking lot as they prepare for next week’s Fourth of July parades. Don’t miss this great opportunity to see and hear the band while meeting other band parents and families!

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year
& the RMHS Marching Mustangs Music Boosters Web Page!
We extend a warm welcome to all of our incoming freshman families joining us for the first time as the 2017 marching season begins – we look forward to getting to know you and the great times we will share together with the Marching Mustangs.
The RMHS Music Boosters were chartered to support the marching band, orchestra, color guard, and all instrumentalist students and directors at Rolling Meadows High School, and our primary way of communicating with you is through posts on this page. Whether it is information on upcoming performances, competitions, football games or ways to volunteer when help is needed, this is where you will find the best ways to get involved and support RMHS’s amazing music program.
We also hope that by now you and your family have heard about and been invited to our Tail Gate Party, which will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., this Thursday, June 29 in front of RMHS. We launched this party last year on a whim and had such a great time at it that repeating it again this year was a given. So drop your student off in the back of the school at 6:30 and then drive around and park in the front to meet fellow Music Boosters, enjoy some great food on us, and most importantly see and hear the newly minted 2017 Marching Mustangs practice and perform “Salute to America” as they march around the parking lot in preparation for the upcoming Fourth of July parades in Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows next week.
You can stop by any time between 7 and 9 as the Marching Mustangs will play several times as they perfect their parade performance. Freshman parents are often amazed at how much has been accomplished in these 6 short rehearsals.
If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com and we will be happy to help you out.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to connect with old friends while making many new ones, too.
See you Thursday night!
The Rolling Meadows Marching Mustangs are proud to be invited each year to march in the Rolling Meadows Memorial Day Parade.
The parade steps off at 11 a.m., this Saturday, May 27, and the Marching Mustangs are one of the highlights of this parade. The Memorial Day parade offers a great opportunity to help out while getting to hear and see our award-winning Marching Mustangs march for the final time of the 2016-17 year. Please check out the many opportunities here and volunteer where you can for this parade:

Two more final concerts for the year are set for the next 2 Thursdays, May 18 & 25.
Come hear the Rolling Meadows High School Jazz I & II Ensembles play their final concert of the 2016-17 school year on May 18 and the Chamber, Symphony & Concert Orchestras will plays their final concert on May 25. These concerts feature year-end awards as well as opportunities to commemorate and say a fond farewell to our graduating seniors.
The concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in the RMHS Theater, and we will need 2 people to help with ticket sales at each. Check out the opportunities here and sign up if you can help. We are especially encouraging parents WITHOUT students playing in each concert to volunteer so that those with student-performers can just enjoy the concert.
Thank you in advance for your assistance during this busy time of year and we look forward to seeing you at these concerts!
