Once a year, music students from the local junior-high schools come to RMHS to learn more about the RMHS music program at Junior High Band Night. This year, it’s on Friday, September 28. The students have dinner and then play the pre-football-game show with the Marching Mustangs. This is a great opportunity to encourage students to continue with music in high school. We need some volunteers to help greet them, to serve dinner, and to clean up afterwards. Please go to the bottom of the Volunteer page and sign up to help.
If you have any questions, please contact Lauralee Reese, the Junior High Band Night chairperson.
Volunteers will meet at the orchestra-room door off the main hallway. We’ll welcome the students to RMHS—this may be their first time at the school, and they may have some questions about the music program. Be sure to let them know all the great things going on. We’ll also enjoy delicious Tortorice’s pizza with the students and socializing with other music parents.
