Jazz in the Meadows is only 5 days away – and we still need your HELP!

Please enter where and when you can help us now at the SignUpGenius links below, for we are at only 5 days and counting!  There are so many great reasons for helping make this event the best Jazz festival in the Midwest.

Today we are looking for additional Outside Security and Door Monitors: Take a look at these positions below.

We also ask you to consider volunteering for more than one position during the day if you have the time (you’re already going to be there anyways, right?).  Thank you!

Top 5 reasons to Work Outside Security:
  1. You are the first face Jazz in the Meadows guests see of the festival, and they’ll be so excited to see you.  People will think you’re important, because you are!
  2. Fresh air is good for you, and this warm weather is guaranteed through the weekend – possibly the warmest day for a Jazz in the Meadows ever!
  3. You get to wear a neon safety vest.
  4. All volunteers get in free to the finale concert, and Jeff Coffin and the Mu’tet are AMAZING!
  5. All of the proceeds raised benefit the music program directly, and your directors and students will be forever grateful.

Top 5 reasons to be a Door Monitor:
  1. You don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to – at all now – we have created new signs this year for our Door Monitors to hold up to help silence the noisy crowd outside the performance rooms.
  2. You are the gatekeeper.  People will think you’re important, because you are.
  3. You get to wear a snazzy purple JITM Staff shirt!
  4. All volunteers get in free to the finale concert, and Jeff Coffin and the Mu’tet are AMAZING!
  5. All of the proceeds raised benefit the music program directly, and your directors and students will be forever grateful.
