RMHS Orchestra Camp has begun and we still need a few more parent volunteers to help fit tuxedos and dresses over the next few nights as well as some hospitality help on Wednesday and Friday.

This Thursday, May 19 and next Thursday, May 26 are the final instrumental concerts for the 2015-16 school year. We are still in need of volunteers for hospitality and tickets. Before each of these concerts, we are also in need of volunteers for to help with band polo shirt & shoe fittings. All of these events can be found on the Volunteer page. The New York trip is almost here! We are making final preparations for what will be a trip to remember. To follow all of our exciting activities, be sure to subscribe to this blog or visit frequently. The first event on our journey will be the Farewell Concert, which will take place Monday at 3:30 in the RMHS Gymnasium.

Don’t forget that Manna & Cheesecake orders are to be picked up from 6-8 tonight!
Tonight’s Marching Band Family Picnic will be in the RMHS Football Stadium from 5:30 to 7 PM and not the cafeteria as previously posted.
Following the picnic, there will be a (free) performance from your students as they show you what they’ve learned during this week of practice.
If you are attending, please bring a food item to share. Last names A-M brings salad and N-Z brings dessert. Please also visit volunteerspot.com to let us know that you are coming and how many in are in your party.

Due to the severe cold weather and all District 214 schools closed on Tuesday January 28th, the special Jazz in the Meadows meeting has been cancelled. At the next regularly scheduled Booster meeting, February 4th, we will focus on the final details of the festival.
