Happy Labor Day Weekend to all and it is also the day of the first football game of the 2016 season!
Thanks to all who signed up for our traditional game-day volunteer slots so quickly – we had every spot filled within 10 hours, which might be a record!
But there are 2 NEW spots remaining, and Mr. Buti has asked if any of the Boosters would be able to film both the Pre-Game and the Half-Time performances for the band to review afterwards. He emphasizes that these do NOT need to be professional quality but he will use them to review formations and the overall look of the band while marching. The videoclip can then be either given to Mr. Buti that evening or e-mailed to him at firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of the weekend. We are adding this volunteer job at all home games and competitions this year – please consider trying your hand at this to help our amazing band get even greater!
You can volunteer to film tonight’s game here:
Next week’s game on Sept. 9 against Maine East High School is now available for volunteering here:
And our first competition, the Grayslake Marching Contest, will be held next Sunday, September 11, at Grayslake North High School in Grayslake and is now available for volunteering here:
Thank you again for all you do to support the Marching Mustangs!
The RMHS Music Boosters
RMHS Orchestra Camp has begun and we still need a few more parent volunteers to help fit tuxedos and dresses over the next few nights as well as some hospitality help on Wednesday and Friday.
You can sign up HERE at the RMHS SignUpGenius site.
Please consider supporting our orchestra and music programs by sharing your time if you can. We extend a special invitation to parents of orchestra students to come out and offer their service during camp week.
With humblest thanks,
The RMHS Music Boosters
