This Monday, November 25, juniors Neil Krzeski (piano) and Michael Priller (violin) will perform in the District 214 Honors Orchestra Concerto/Aria Competition Finals Recital. This yearly event showcases some of the finest musicians throughout the district. Only six students were selected to perform and RMHS has two! Please consider showing your support for Mike & Neil by attending this recital. It takes place in the Theater at Forest View Educational Center at 7:30 p.m and there is no admission fee. Students in attendance for the entire recital can receive concert credit. Let’s give these two Mustangs a huge cheering section!
Here’s the information about this winter’s Pep Band. The dates are here for convenient reference. Please download the PDF for more details (such as the absentee policy) and the roster.
With the coming of the Yuletide season, the Madrigal Singers of Rolling Meadows High School present their annual Madrigal Dinners. We invite you to travel back in time and experience a royal feast complete with entertainment and songs, including traditional madrigals and holiday carols. Adding to this festive occasion are the court jesters, serving wenches, and court musicians (brass and string sections).
The Holiday Concert is on Tuesday, December 18. The Choral Concert is at 6:30 PM and the Instrumental Concert is at 8:00 PM. Act now to get your tickets before they’re gone. Download and print the form, select the tickets you want, write a check (or count out some cash), and send the form to school with your student. If your ticket order is received by noon on Wednesday, December 17, your tickets will be given to the student. After that, they will be held at will-call.
If you missed Band-o-Rama (or you were there and already know how great the music is), you can still order a CD of the Band-O-Rama concert. Don’t miss your chance to get an audio keepsake of this year’s award-winning marching season! Download and print this form, fill it out, and hurry before time runs out. Supplies are limited!
We need a couple of volunteers to chaperone the Marching Mustangs grade-school tour on Monday, October 22. It’s a fun day; the students are well-behaved
