CHEESECAKE & Great Lakes SCRIP STUDENT FUNDRAISERS

Just in time for Thanksgiving and the start of the Holiday season we are once again offering our CHEESECAKE fundraiser. Orders and money are due to the directors on November 2nd.  Product pick-up is Nov 13th from 5 – 7 pm. Order forms have been passed out to students.

GREAT LAKES SCRIP GIFT CARDS (formerly Manna gift cards) are also being offered to students and make great holiday gifts and treats. Order forms have been passed out to students.

Two new and exciting fundraisers also currently going on are DIP MIXES and MEAT SNACK STICKS. Orders are due November 2nd. Order forms were passed out to students the week of October 9th.

The order due date for CHEESECAKES, SCRIP GIFT CARDS, DIP MIXES and COUNTRY MEATS SNACK STICKS is Thursday, November 2nd. payments and orders must be turned into the directors.  Late orders can not be processed.

Online sales for YANKEE CANDLE are still open and can be found at https://www.yankeecandlefundraising.com/home.htm. This sale is ongoing through the end of December.

Checks and payments should be made out to: RMHS Music Boosters for any of the above fundraisers.

With a number of choices this fall, students can pick an item that they feel most comfortable selling. Students do not have to participate in any fundraising but it is a great way to earn money for your student account and expenses related to the music program, including the Disney Spring trip.

Profits on the various programs vary:

  • Cheesecakes sales earn students $6 profit for every one sold
  • Great Lakes Scrip gift cards earn a percentage that can range from 5% to 15% of the card value.
  • Country Meats snack sticks earn $0.45 on every $1 snack stick sold
  • Dip mixes earns $2.50 for every $5 packet sold

Pick up for cheesecakes, gift cards, dip mixes and snack sticks will be available Monday November 13th in the RMHS cafeteria from 5-7pm.

Great Lakes Scrip Gift Cards

Great Lakes Scrip is a fundraiser that provides gift cards and certificates from local and national retailers. They are the same gift cards available in stores. Retailers such as Jewel, Mariano’s, Meijer, Wal-Mart, Walgreen’s, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Carson’s, Apple, Amazon, Starbucks, Starbucks, Home Depot, Menard’s all participate in the program, along with dozens of others.

Put your shopping dollars to work. Earn money for the student’s account without spending anything additional. Purchase gift cards from stores that participate in the Great Lakes Scrip program and use them for your every day purchases, all while earning money for your student accounts. Grocery, clothing, entertainment, and household goods can be purchased. Great Lakes Scrip gift cards make great gifts for birthdays, or anniversaries, or house-warming parties, or…. Every gift card purchase earns a percentage of the purchase price for your student account. Students receive the percentages that are listed on the sheet.

Please download and fill out the order form below, include a payment (checks made out to RMHS Music Boosters), and return to Mr. Buti or Mr. Carroll by the deadline.

Orders are due Thursday, November 2nd. You can pick up gift card orders in the North Cafeteria on Monday, November 13th.

Butter Braid Pickup Monday

Butter Braid orders are to be picked up on Monday, September 25th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., in the north cafeteria. The Butter Braid product is frozen, so please be sure to have this date on your calendar, because we have no way to store frozen product.  If you have any questions regarding Butter Bread please contact Cindy Bieda at 847-736-5107.

Please remember to turn in your Butter Braid orders and money (checks made payable to Rolling Meadows Music Boosters) to Mr. Buti, Mr. Carroll, and Ms. Walsh, by Friday, September 15th.  Orders should be picked up on Monday, September 25thfrom 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m,  in the RMHS south cafeteria. If you have any questions or you are unable to pick up your Butter Braid order, please contact Cindy Bieda at (847) 632-0309 or butterbraidsale@rmhsmusicboosters.com.  Kindly remember the product is frozen and we do not have a facility to store it in.

SPACES ARE STILL AVAILABLE! Garage Sale Fundraiser

It’s not too late to reserve a spot for the RMHS Music Boosters fundraiser garage sale. Send an email to garagesale@rmhsmusicboosters.com and let us know you are interested in selling. The weather is going to be great and it gives you a chance to earn some money from those old items sitting in the back of your closet, basement or garage.

100% of the money you earn from selling your stuff can go directly to your personal student account. Use your proceeds toward this year’s spring break trip to Disney or for other music department–related expenses (uniform fees, equipment, lessons, etc.).

Date: Saturday, September 9

Time: 9 am to 2 pm

Where: RMHS front parking lot

Sellers should plan on arriving no later than 7:30 AM to allow adequate time to set up merchandise displays and be prepared for the inevitable early birds.
