Today, we’re kicking off a new fundraiser designed to help your student earn money toward their student accounts. Keep in mind that next year is a trip year!
Students will come home today with their Yankee Candle fundraising brochures. These feature candles, accessories, and more from Yankee Candle. For each item a student sells, 40% will be added to their student account. Completed order forms are due back to Mr. Buti and Mr. Stewart by April 4.
Delivery of the items will be the week before Mother’s Day. (We’ll notify you of the exact date later, but it will certainly be before Mother’s Day.) Think Mother’s Day gifts!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Sara Zimmermann.
If you’re interested in the particular pieces that were performed by the schools during Jazz in the Meadows, you can download the list here. (I’ve also added it to the Jazz in the Meadows page.)
Correction: The Rolling Meadows High School Jazz Combo’s set list was:
- Bossa Blues
- Watermelon Man
Thanks to everyone for making the 26th annual Jazz in the Meadows festival a success. Thank you to the schools, performers, volunteers, sponsors, attendees, judges, parents, teachers, staff, family members, friends, and anyone I’ve forgotten.
If you weren’t able to catch the Tim Seisser Quintet at noon, videos of their performance are on the Music Boosters YouTube channel (with their permission, of course).

Go to the Jazz in the Meadows page, download the Friends form and print it, enter your information, select your sponsorship level, and write a check before February 1.
