Don’t miss the FALL MUSIC CONCERT on Sunday, October 23, at 3 PM in the Fieldhouse. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5 a person. Snacks will be provided and beverages will be available for purchase. Featured in this concert will be the Orchestra, Concert Choir, Beginning Choir, Madrigals, Jazz Band II, Jazz Ensemble I, Jazz Combo, Show Choir, AcaFellas, and AcaBellas. A wide variety of musical styles will be performed.

If you missed the Spring Concert last night or just want to hear the awesome performances again, I’ve uploaded videos of every performance.

If you watch only one video, you must watch the U.S.A. premiere of the Japanese composition called Hymn to the Sun with the Beat of Mother Earth. This piece was purchased by the Music Boosters for the Symphonic Band to play at the Spring Concert. This is the first time it has been performed outside of Japan.
Remember to come to the Spring Concert this Wednesday, 7:30 to 9PM. This is the final concert for the bands. Everyone’s welcome! Bring your parents, grandparents, friends, and that old friend from college you ran into at the bookstore. Incoming freshmen and their parents should come to see what they have to look forward to.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
The Holiday Concert is on Thursday, December 9. The Choral Concert is at 6:30 PM and the Instrumental Concert is at 7:45 PM. Act now to get your tickets before they’re gone. Download and print the form, select the tickets you want, write a check (or count out some cash), and send the form to school with your student. If your ticket order is received by noon on Wednesday, December 8, your tickets will be given to the student. After that, they will be held at will-call.

Don’t miss hearing the award winning Marching Mustangs in their Annual Band-O-Rama Concert on Wednesday, October 27th at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Gym. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens and may be purchased at the door. A CD recording will be made of the concert. Order forms will also be available at the door.
The Marching Mustangs will perform all of the music and flag routines to their traditional pre-game show, that includes the “Pregame Entrance Cadence,” “The National Anthem,” “The R.M.H.S. Fight Song,” and “Cadence 4.0.” Next the ensemble will perform their award winning halftime/competition show entitled, “PYRAMIDS OF EGYPT.” Musical selections include: “Construction,” “Discovery,” “Drum Break,” and “Curse of the Pharaohs.” The music and flag routines are truly moving and powerful! Also, other traditional music will be played, such as the “Alma Mater Song,” “Salute To America,” and other cadences. This year’s Junior High Mass Band Night piece, “God Bless the USA.” and this year’s Homecoming Theme Song, “Thriller,” will also be heard. Finally numerous pep tunes will be played, including favorites such as “Hey Baby,” “Living on a Prayer,” “Bad Romance,” “Here it Goes Again,” “Give Me Some Lovin,” and more.
